What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Social Nerd

You're interested in things such as politics, psychology, child care, and peace. I wouldn't go so far as to call you a hippie, but some of you may be tree-huggers. You're the type of people who are interested in bettering the world. You're possible the least nerdy of them all; unless you participate in other activies that paled your nerdiness compared to your involvement in social activities. Whatever the case, we could still use more of you around. ^_^

Climate change deniers: the new creationistsCollapse )

Seriously, these are the sort of people who believe 1421: The Year China Discovered the World is a real book based on actual evidence. Or that The Da Vinci Code was non-fiction. Point and laugh at them, people, point and laugh.

I don't know if anyone else watches The Gruen Transfer (if not, you should!), but this headline following last Wednesday's show amused me greatly: Kiwis get all defensive about TV invasion plot. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Go Wil!

Oh, I love Roman Holiday *sigh* It makes me go all girly. Very, very girly. Thank you ABC2, for showing that again *loves that movie*

Now I'm watching Casablanca - I haven't seen this for ages! Such a brilliant movie.

EDIT: I love this movie! Also, very much loving the Dorothy L. Sayers "Lord Peter Whimsey" stories.

I may have finally joined the 1940's. What? This is a big step up from my normal "We're all still Edwardian" ethos XD

And... is it Saturday in England yet????? PLEASE?

Ok, scary thing I've found out for today - Indiana (in 1897) TRIED TO LEGISLATE THE TRUE NUMBER OF PI! Because it was too irrational. Kid you not, peoples (although this bill has then become the basis for a number of hoaxes, set in more recent times).

Wow. I mean, just... wow o.0

For those of you who've seen Forest of the Dead:

(not so) major spoilerCollapse )

God, Steve Moffat just gets better and better. And the Doctor just cooler and hotter. Although, still undecided on the whole River-Song issue :/
